HOW DOES IT WORK? – THE SCIENCE IN A NUTSHELL (or actually a fat cell!)
Our top of the range unique dual frequency lasers safely pass through the skin and make micro pores in the fat cells (adipocytes). They then begin to sweat, causing glycerol, water and fatty acids to be released and this reduces the overall dimensions of the fat cell.
The fatty liquids are then removed through the lymphatic system and excreted from the body in a natural process with normal bodily functions. Clients are encouraged to drink plenty of water and to exercise directly after their treatment session, as this kick-starts the lymphatic system to do it’s cleansing work. Natural magic!
Most asked question;
Why do you need to exercise after? Best results are achieved when you ‘up’ your heart rate after the treatment and for your convenience we have a vibration plate at our clinic you can use, just 10 minutes will help. However, some cardio based activity is important within 24 hours of the treatment to help your lymphatic system rid your body of the fat the treatment has worked on. If you already go to the gym, or are doing an exercise class then that’s perfect, but if you don’t, then even a brisk walk to raise your heart rate and get you into a light sweat will work as well. Of course common sense dictates that alongside the exercise, a sensible healthy diet is also recommended and you will need to increase your intake of water.
